Terms of service
These terms govern your use of DriveClerk. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
DriveClerk connects to your Gmail inbox, finds PDF business documents, classifies them with machine learning, and files renamed copies into your Google Drive. Classification is probabilistic: it will sometimes be wrong, and the product gives you tools to review and correct it. You are responsible for verifying that documents you rely on (for taxes, accounting, legal, or any other purpose) are filed and labeled correctly.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account and must be authorized to grant access to the inbox you connect. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, or use the service for unlawful content.
Beta status, plans, and payment
DriveClerk is in an early-access phase. Onboarding, connecting Gmail, and testing classification on your documents are free. Some features, such as automatic filing to Google Drive, may require a paid subscription. Prices and what each plan includes are shown before you pay. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe, renew automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled any time from the billing portal, taking effect at the end of the paid period.
Your data
Your documents are yours. Files we file into your Google Drive belong to you and remain in your Drive if you stop using DriveClerk. How we handle data is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings.
Acceptable use
- No attempting to access data belonging to other users.
- No probing, scraping, reverse engineering, or disrupting the service.
- No using the service to store or process unlawful content.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. DriveClerk is not an accounting, tax, or legal service and does not provide professional advice. We do not warrant that classification or extraction will be accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DriveClerk and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 50 USD if you have paid nothing.
Termination
You can stop using DriveClerk and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, the privacy policy's deletion rules apply.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected in the date above, and continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: imannbrar25@gmail.com.
